Hello Calvary Chapel Living Water. We wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. Some of you already know me and my wife. But for those that don't, my name is Joel Brown, and that beautiful lady next to me in the video is my wife, Katya. For many years I have been coming to speak at your church while on furlough. It came to feel like my home. So this year we decided to make official, and if you didn't know already, your church adopted me. Now it is OUR church.
We want to start updating you on our lives and ministry so you can be an active part of our team and support us with prayer. The biggest thing is that our daughter Amanda was born 4 months ago. What a wild ride that has been, but we are loving every minute of it.
We have 2 main prayer requests: our current summer ministry plans, and our future ministry decisions. For the summer we have 5 camps planned. One is a camp for boys on an island to teach them about God in a manly setting. 2 camp, one for teens and one for college students, are evangelistic. 1 camp is with gypsy children, and one is for underprivileged kids. That's a lot for a young married couple with a baby, but God will be our strength. As for our future plans, we feel God calling us away from our current ministry, and out to western Ukraine, near where our work with the gypsies is. the details are still a work in progress, but we want you to be a part of out journey. We hope to make it to you in person before the end of the year. For those of you that have been faithful, thank you for your prayers.
